Weekly Photography Assignment: Macro
Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to encourage yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website. Week 281: Macro This week, we want to see your macro photography! Let’s take a look at the smaller aspects of nature, and draw attention to the fascinating details, patterns, and tiny creatures found in the natural world. Macro photography is incredibly exciting. It can allow us to see things in a new light. You may be able to use a designated macro lens to get close to your tiny photography subjects, but if not, you can still create compelling images of the macro world with the kit you have! Perhaps you will look to photograph an insect, or the details of your favourite plant. Whether you’re a seasoned nature photographer, or are new to the genre, the options for capturing new and interesting macro photos of nature are endless, and we can’t wait to see what inspiring shots you can create.
