Weekly Photography Assignment: Small World

Each week we’ll be giving you a theme that you can submit a photo for, and we’ll choose our favourite to be featured on the Nature TTL website. Participating in these assignments will be a great way for you to encourage yourself to push the boundaries of your photography and improve together as a community on the website. Week 250: Small World Our theme this week is Small World, and we’d love to see what fantastic nature photos you can take featuring the smaller aspects of the natural world! This week, we encourage you to look for the tiny details in nature. What might you normally walk past and forget to notice? It’s time to shine some light on the small beauties of this season. Perhaps you will focus on the patterns in some leaves, or on the wings of an insect. Maybe you will close up on the bark of a tree, or the texture of an animal’s fur. Whether you’re a seasoned nature photographer, or are new to the genre, the options for images of nature’s small worlds are endless, and we can’t wait to see what inspiring shots you can create. It’s a great moment of behaviour frozen in time. The subjects are in focus and framed beautifully by the water. The choice of vertical orientation also shows off the full length of the birds very well! Well done, and thank you to all who entered! Inspiration Images embedded from 500px.com.
