Relations between the West and China are already at a low, and the AUKUS has been interpreted as an attempt to counterbalance Chinese power in the region. It has been likened to a new cold war in global affairs. The West, however, has its own plans and that is making the world jittery.Shafi Ahmed KhowajaHyderabad Published in Dawn, October 3rd, 2021
